Cross Inn, Llanon

I am identifying these as Knot Grass and Common Carpet - unless somebody tells me otherwise! I seem to be getting worse and spend half my mornings dithering over the correct id of 2 moths. Practice will make perfect I'm sure but sometimes the more illustrations and photos I look at, the more confused I get.

    You are spot on there Phil... if you can afford the time it will all be worth it in the end.
    Every moth you identify is a bonus and if you miss the odd one through time constraints don't worry.
    Moth blindness is a known condition in all of us...but it's not terminal! lol

      Thank you Ina. I need all the encouragement I can get! Lesser Swallow Prominent is an easy id for this morning but now to tackle 2 little brown jobs.
