We set two traps in my woodland, adjacent to a large beech plantation, in the Leri valley near Talybont last night and were rewarded with a total of 71 moths of 30 different species. The high spot was this Barred Hook-tip. I am informed that there have been only 5 records in VC46 since the year 2000.
