Pseudargyrotoza conwagana

P. conwagana has been recorded in Aberporth and Tregaron this month and in our garden last night along with 23 other species. Our numbers seemed low compared to other people's reports but checking the records they are slightly up on last year and much better than 2012. Buff-tip and Heart and dart were most numerous with first appearances for us of Large yellow underwing, Elephant and Small elephant hawkmoths, Middle-barred minor, Flame, and Setaceous hebrew character.

  1. Well I've not caught that very attractive micro conwagana but I have had your other firsts except LYU last week! Unusual to beat the north in anything!
    Trap out tonight!
