Scallop Shell



Despite being noted as quite common, this is only the second I have seen in recent years. It was with the usual suspects in the trap this morning

    I wouldn't call it too common as there have only been 281 adults recorded -most of them up north. I presume that you have seen the Tony's maps and information on the blog. Evan

  3. Good, Tony has put a lot of work into making them, and then when more are caught this year an update may be required. Your picture is most excellent and we are very envious.

  4. I love this moth and saw one dayflying when I disturbed it in the garden willow carr couple of years ago.
