So far this year the results of moth trapping in the garden have been disappointing, but it was a bit better last night. Only 19 macro moths but 14 different species including Broom moth, Dark/Grey dagger, Flame carpet and White ermine which were all firsts for us this year. 4 micro species; Esperia sulphurella (which escaped from photography), Epiphyas postvittana, Agonopterix heracliana/ciliella agg., and Acleris literana (Ina says "note the scale tufts on the left side of the photo").
