A better night, at last

I put my LED trap just into the wood last night and was rewarded with over 90 moths of, I think, 37 species. I hope my identifications are correct!

Edit 15 June: I had Cloaked Minor for the third one, but noticed flight season is wrong, so now think another Middle-barred Minor.

  1. It is a Middle-barred Minor. Waved Carpet are not very common in Ceredigion with only 56 records before this year. The last record in your 10km square was on 28/05/2011.

  2. Thank you, Tony. Nice to add two new species to our garden list.
