Leri Valley Grass Moths

A walk up the Leri Valley from Talybont this afternoon produced lots of Crambidae.
We collected some for further inspection and identified three species, Chrysoteuchia culmella, Crambus lathoniellus and Crambus perlella.
Three Marbled White Spot and one Green Carpet were also found lurking in the undergrowth.
Butterflies included our first Large Skippers and Ringlets of the year.
