Psoricoptera gibbosella

We trapped at Ynys-hir last night and found a county first - Psoricoptera gibbosella, a Gelechiid which has been verified by Steve Palmer.
We also recorded the first Sharp-angled Peacock for the site.

  1. The male gibbosella has really spectacular "bits" and worth a look on the moth dissection website.

    1. I see what you mean, antlers, curly bits and seaweed! If I got a worn one I think I would spot it!
