Common Heath

At least four Common Heath seen on a walk round Cors Fochno boardwalk this afternoon.
Good numbers of Brimstone, GV White and Peacocks too.  Two micros in the fridge for later - we could have had more, but only two pots!!  A lesson there.

  1. Were your Brimstones butterflies or moths, or both? I'm always on the look out for potential places to find Brimstone butterflies in Ceredigion.

    1. Sorry, they were butterflies. There were 2 or 3 at the road end of the track. Ynys-hir also has them, although I have not seen them this year yet.
