Clifden Nonpareil

We were delighted to find this Clifden Nonpareil in our garden trap this morning having caught our first at the same time two years previously.

  1. That is so exciting! My CMB trap last night was very disappointing as the temp dropped to about 9C in the open field. Would like to see the incidence of recent CNP trappings on a map: is it another influx or are they being bred and released somewhere?

  2. Liz, You live in a cold place. Our minimum temperature that night was 14.7°C (actually at 7 AM).
