Llanarth garden

 Although a chilly night there were 69 moths of 12 species trapped in the garden.

Mullein

  1. Mullein is the only macro moth in the county which is recorded more frequently in the larval stage than the adult, probably because the larvae are very striking and feed by day whereas the adults are not often attracted to light traps. Of the 49 records in Ceredigion only 17 are for adults.
