Purple thorn

Despite the rain I had 66 moths and 15 species visit my trap at Troedrhiw seiri, Bontgoch
 last night, including this lovely fresh purple thorn.

    Only the 3rd record of Purple Thorn in March. The earliest one was on the 24th in 2012, recorded by Carolyn and Evan not far from Bontgoch.
