    Is the rarity of Orange sallow in Ceredigion a reflection on the distribution of Small leaved lime, the larval foodplant?

    Wych Elm is also quoted. Arthur Chater's magnificent tome The Flora of Cardiganshire has maps for both foodplants and interestingly there are no small leaved limes shown near Aberporth. I believe this book is now available on-line so will be useful for checking other foodplants of our rarer moths.
