I have taken another pic on a dull brown background and it has shown up a peachy pink leading edge to the wings…the joys of digital photography, must buy some grey card.
The pink tinge to leading edge fits with Waring and Townsend's description of Early tooth-striped. I think the broader wing makes it look more of an inverted heart shape than the Mottled grey. Tony
