Spectacle

Good trapping conditions have seen a few new species at Llawrcwrt over the last couple of nights. Ghost Moth, Middle Barred minor , Brussels lace and the Spectacle below. The extraordinary appearance has clearly evolved to deter a predator, but what predator? Is this enough to put off even an inexperienced fledgling? I wouldn't have thought so. Anyone any ideas?
