Micro for ID

This micro (FL 8mm) was part of our weekend catch.  It looks obvious but I seem unable to identify it?  Please can you advise.

  1. Capua vulgana, a tortricid which looks like it might belong to a different family.

  2. Many thanks George.
You can see the costal fold in the pale patch at the base of the wing on the photo.
If you still have the moth and look again it will probably be more obvious.
Good photo. I assume it came from the woodland.

  3. Many thanks George- very helpful. Have reviewed the moth still sitting in the fridge and you can clearly see the costal fold! And yes Ina we had 3 in our woodland trap.
