I am partic...Interesting collection of moths Peter. I am particularly interested in the number of Brindled beauty which you recorded in just 2 nights. If you look at this species in my macro moths document, its numbers have increased a lot in the last few years. There were 64 records from 1952 to 2010 and 158 records from 2010 to 2016. Some of this must be the result of more people recording moths, but the records from the RIS trap at Tregaron, which has been in operation for 40 years, also indicate increasing numbers. <br />Despite all our trapping we have not had any this year yet!Tony Allenbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05979490056454544174noreply@blogger.com
