May Highflier; Peppered Moth X 3; Privet Hawk-moth; Poplar Hawk-moth; Buff-tip; Heart and Dart; Green Arches; Tawny Shears; Poplar Grey; Alder Moth; Angle Shades X 2; Clouded-bordered Brindle and Treble Lines X 4.

  1. Fifty two records of Privet Hawk, first one 1901. No records between 1986 and 2007 even though people were recording during that time. Most of them down your way Sarah.

  2. Well done Sarah! This is such a beautiful moth. We saw several of these on Exmoor last year on a course with David Brown but didn't think we were likely to see one in Ceredigion.
